Forest fire haze
This didn't help my breathing issues...view of Lake Okanagan this afternoon. Compare it to earlier photo posted. Made the right decision to withdraw from the race at about 150km into the bike.

Tammy,
We are so proud of your efforts today, you are still our IRONMAN. Now we wait to hear about Mark - hope he's not too banged up...
and is able to finish the run.
Love, Jerry and Mary.
Tammy: It's not a case of life being fair or not it is a case of you knowing what to do at the right time. Congratulations on what you accomplished even with your breathing problem. You certainly are a great athlete and a smart one to know what to do in making the right decision. Love, your 2nd Mom.
I can't even imagine walking in that haze let alone being as physically active as you were. Congrats on making the right decision. Can't wait for the blog!!!
Love,
Catherine
It must be disappointing having to bow out but sometime the game is knowing when to bow out. We are proud of you for all your accomplishments.
