We had snow overnight, now rain is falling, and freezing temps tonight are expected to make things icy tomorrow. Hopefully the morning commute isn't too bad, otherwise, it will be a good day to stay off the roads!
But, I saw the forecast for the summit of Kilimanjaro and it looks like things on the mountain aren't much different:
-temperatures well below freezing (expecting some colder temps later in the week)
-expecting 2cm of snow tomorrow (rain showers at lower altitudes)
-generally light winds - 15km/hr
yes, we're packing GoreTex, down jackets/sleeping bags/booties, and lots of merino wool...oh yeah, and shorts and T-shirts for the safari!
