View of the top...

This shot was taken just before sunset this evening...zooming in from our B&B balcony. It's a little intimidating to look at, but after a briefing with our lead guide this evening, we are packed and ready to go.

We will be on our way around 8:30am in the morning. A long drive to the gates - likely around 4 hrs, and the climb begins. The gaiters and rain gear are in our day packs as rain is a good possibility, esp in the lower altitude areas as we go through the forest...but we're ready for it.

We're really hoping we'll be able to send off a quick note...but no guarantees. So, if you don't hear from us over the next 8 days, assume that we're having a blast and enjoying the adventure with Walt & Marisa.

Mark and Tammy - What an exciting adventure! Know that all your friends at Campbell's are with you both every step up the way. How will you heat up your SOUP on the climb though??? CHEERS! Jacki Nelson and the rest of your Candian Senior Leadership Team (mates)!

Incredible! Mark and Tammy, best wishes and good luck on your journey! Looking forward to seeing what you brought for the pics at the top. I understand the final trek starts at midnight -- the directions are easy: turn left at the 2nd star and climb on 'til morning! Love you guys!

There is more snow in Toronto than at the top of that hill you are climbing. We are experiencing Snow-mageddon here and living vicariously through you. Miss you lots and have a blast!
